Along with my 2 daughters, we are the founders of Mix + Max. After 20 years working in retail (10 years on the salesfloor and 10 years behind the scenes in corporate roles), I found myself at a career crossroads and realized how much brain space was going toward getting my kids dressed and out the door in the morning.

My eldest has sensory issues, and nothing, I mean nothing, felt right for years. Sizing for both kids was a mess from the big box stores, and nothing seemed to fit well. We were creating so much waste buying things they never wore.

I started dreaming up solutions to these daily battles, and then something magical happened. I told the girls, plus their cousins and friends, what I was doing, and they were full of ideas that didn't exist anywhere.
